Crochet a little white Christmas tree with raised ribs and soft scalloped edges. Make it with four or five tiers, finish it with a natural wooden bead, and hang it from a Christmas branch or tie it onto a wrapped gift. The pattern also includes a five-tier tabletop version with a wooden stand.

The 12-page English PDF includes round-by-round instructions and stitch counts, illustrated guidance for shaping and joining the tiers, and directions for attaching the bead and hanging loop. The pattern uses US crochet terminology.

Skill level — Confident beginner to intermediate. You’ll work in joined rounds, use front post double crochet to create the raised ribs, and sew the tiers together with hidden stitches.

Materials — Soft white 8/4 fingering-weight cotton, a 2.5 mm crochet hook, a yarn needle, scissors, six stitch markers, and a ruler. Allow about 15 g / 50 m of cotton for one five-tier tree, including practice and yarn tails. For the hanging version, add a 12 mm wooden bead and about 60 cm / 24 in of pale cotton yarn for the loop. For the tabletop version, use a 3–4 mm wooden dowel, a stable predrilled wooden base, and suitable wood glue. The tree is assembled without stuffing.
